Our History

Meta Manufacturing was founded in 1988 by David McSwain in Blue Ash, a greater suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio. Meta Manufacturing was created to service customers of various industries, concentrating in contract CNC machining of precision parts. Meta's capabilities excel in high volume loads of complex, prismatic, tight tolerance components. As a small business, Meta masters agility and service customers with tight turnaround solutions while maintaining high quality standards.

34 Years and Counting
Meta has grown extensively the last 34 years, opening shop with 10 employees and just 2 machines. To date, Meta has nearly 100 employees and operates 35 CNC machines. Over the last three decades, Meta has expanded capabilities into military and defense, automotive alloy wheels and more.
1988
Meta was founded in 1988 and moved into its first building in Blue Ash, OH.
1992
By 1992, Meta experienced strong growth and moved into a new 54,000 square foot building.
1995
In 1995 Meta expanded to military and defense work, producing brake components for the HUMMVEE.
2000
Meta expanded by 2000 and purchased two multi-million dollar robotic machining cells, increasing capacity of aluminum alloy wheels to 35,000 components per month.
2010
In 2010, Meta added machining centers to produce suspension components for the military and defense Caiman MRAP.
2012
By 2012, Meta grew capacity with additional horizontal machining centers to increase volume to 10,000 brake caliper housings per month for automotive passenger car brake systems.

To date, Meta operates 35 CNC machines and grew to nearly 100 employees throughout the last three decades, servicing a wide array of customers across several industries.
